Obama: 'Lipstick on a pig'

This man really needs to put a 'Think Again' block between his brain and mouth.

Quote:
Obama: 'Lipstick on a pig'

Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA:

Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.

"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."

"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."

"We've had enough of the same old thing."

The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

BHO just does not do well without a written document someone else has prepared.

Knock out the teleprompter and, well.....a.....a......er.....a....er...but......a. ............er, ( I could go on!).

The only difference between BHO and Pvt. Pyle ,USMC, is that BHO has yet been caught on camera saying, " gooooooooooolllllly.

Well, there are a few other things different. BHO is dumber, for one.

Several of BHO's remarks during this entire campaign can be taken to mean multiple things.

This is just the latest attempt at saying something, having the crowd take it one way, and then BHO backpedaling and saying "that's not what I meant".

Sounds like the imagery he used of "lipstick on a pig" and "an old fish in newspaper" could be applicable to how he and Biden are running their campaign...business as usual, and not very appealing.

Barry is all a flutter saying EVERYONE is mis-interpreting his comments..

but the text says it all:

Quote:
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said "It's still a pig."
If this isn't a reference to Gov Palin???

Quote:
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
Then McCain isn't the old dead fish???

I think Barry knew exactly what he wanted to say.. Way to much coincidence to be a simple mistake in word selection.. Especially after the Gov has used the pit bull-lipstick phrase..

I couldn't agree more. No such thing as coincidence. BHO is very talented at using "misinterpretation" as his weapon of choice.

This kind of tactic does two things: 1) it allows BHO to attack McCain / Palin without looking like he attacked them, and 2) it gives the MSM sound bites that it can use to show how sensitive and judgmental the Republicans are as they "misinterpret" what BHO says.

Of course, McCain and Palin have taken the more direct route in addressing Obama and Biden, and I believe they are having much more success with their tactics than BHO is having with his.

Absolute panic!

Mike Huckaby was on O'Reilly last night and said he didn't mean it that way (Palin). What's wrong with Huckabby?

Wow. No kidding. I'm beginning to like the "circling the drain" metaphor myself.

Once that death-spiral starts it reaches a point where some of the democratic leaning media start to join the feeding frenzy... they can't help themselves...just like vultures to a animal dying in the desert.

Then the spiral gains speed and the more the BHO campaign has to go off script to respond...just like Biden saying today, "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Lets get that straight." That has to be real helpful...
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09...r-pick-for-vp/

Eventually even more left leaning media are compelled to start picking at the dying BHO campaign because...well, because they are journalists and can't help it.

Eventually down the drain it goes.
