I have a very close friend that is a manager for an oilfield service company. He just called and they are looking for vets recently out of the service looking for a job in the private sector. The work is in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. It is not security related, it is actual oilfield work. I know the company, it is a good outfit and Chris is a good man. He needs good people and wants to hire vets if he can.

For you city boys and those that have never worked in the patch, here's a hint. The oilfield is a lot like the military, they work hard and they play hard and they don't put up with any bullshit. They take a man at his word until he proves otherwise, then he ceases to exist in their world. They expect you to work a full day for a full day's pay. The work can be hard, but they stick together.
