Interesting blurb from Men's Health, Index vs Ring Finger length

So I ran across this in the Health Bulletin in the April 2011 issue of Men's Health.

Apparently there has been a decent amount of research on this, and it seems that men that have a longer ring finger relative to their index finger were exposed to more testosterone before birth.

This then apparently may act as an indicator for other health and behavioral issues/traits including:
  • less likely to have a heart attack in 30s and 40s
  • more likely to develop prostate cancer
  • more agressive than men with longer index fingers
  • greater mental toughness and optimism

As it relates to this forum, I am curious as to whether this phenom is present in a random (somewhat) sample of actual Quiet Professionals.

Not advocating that it is or is not an indicator of success in becoming SF but rather trying to humor my own sense of curiosity.

Thanks,
Ritz
P.S. - I have the longer ring finger and do feel I am on the more aggressive side

Neo-Anthropometrics; Bertillon would be so proud.

LOL! Believe me, I did think about posting this under comedy, but then I figured that no one would take it seriously!

Whose ring finger is shorter than their index finger? That would make your hand look kind of odd wouldn't it?

The only guys I can remember seeing in that condition were Elton John and the actor on the "Low-T" commercial...

Well, there was my 18C phase 2 instructor. Three guesses as to the cause of his affliction.

I wonder if anyone ever successfully breached his see through case. No, blow it in place does not count.

I wonder if this relates to Morton's toe syndrome?
A longer second toe has often been associated with royalty, particularly during the rule of the Ptolemaic dynasty when Egypt was under Greek rulership. It was an idealized form in Greek sculpture, and this persisted as an aesthetic standard through Roman and Renaissance periods and later (the Statue of Liberty has toes of this proportion). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton%27s_toe
