I like the tubular handguard a lot. I'm not a huge fan of rails since I don't really have much to put on them.

The fire pig looks pretty good as well.

Marlin Guide 45-70

Its a blast to shoot, and accurate enough offhand given my own limitations. Just sold a Walther PPK/s and might put the money towards loading my own ammunition. 45-70 is not cheap. Luckily with the recoil, I don't waste a lot of ammo..

Ooooh, you got the fancy one with the rail and the big loop lever!

Very nice.

Yes Sir! Thank you. I like the xs peep sight that comes on it, but a 2.5 Leupold would make a nice addition.

As to reloading, I've got (Correction) 142 pieces of brass I'll sell at a good price. It's 45-100 and easy enough to cut down. Just PM me...

I load black powder in my 45/70. Pleasant to shoot, nice smoke, but a bitch to clean.

Special thanks to the sticky (http://professionalsoldiers.com/foru...ad.php?t=12917) and great insights from all the QPs.

Been to the range a number of times, and everything feels just right.

Wish I could say the same for my accuracy, but... This gives me the perfect excuse to spend more money on ammo and more time at the range!!

New Rifle

Just picked up a new Daniel Defense DDM4-V7 Lightweight profile. I have it set up for 3-gun shooting with a ACOG TA31F, Magpul MBUS front and rear and a Surefire Mini Scout.
