Here are a couple of SBR's that I recently put together for a friend here locally. Both lowers are from Bravo Company. One has a BCM upper and the other has a Vltor MUR. The MUR is a stronger design and the purpose behind it (based on some testing) was to prevent or minimize upper receiver flex.

One is an 11.5" and the other is 12.5". Both are set up to use an AAC M4-2000 MOD 8 suppressor. Everything else is a personal preference deal.

Here's another that I did for a young AD Marine down in Yuma. He was in the area visiting relatives so I hooked him up while he was visiting. He originally had some POS Samson rail on his AR. He wanted to install a Troy rail and didn't want a screwed on gas block. So I cut and shaved the FSB to fit under the rail.

I would have suspected that none of that was possible in Baltimore, much less DC.

There's a lot of guys who will jump on you for saying a "Class 3" purchase. They say that' s only the FFL (SOT3) that is Class 3 - the weapon/suppressor is a NFA weapon.

Well stated KOZ. Someone mentioned starting a NFA forum (Laws, pics, etc.). I think that would be great for those interested, but obviously up to TS and the other MODs. If not, I'll just keep posting them here . This one's just a tease as it is a little more rare "Enhanced Commando" burst model some of you may well have seen .

Colt 1911A1 Commercial made in 1927

I got a line on a "as new" Colt 1911 Commercial Ace. He wants stupid money. Gonna try to work a trade or something with my Colt 1911 and new S70 National Match and probably cash to boot.. Yikes.. But damn those things are nice.. We will see! Havent even seen it yet I've just gotten a verbal run down. Hopefully see it next weekend..
