It started life as an Auto Ordnance (not the old AO, sadly the new AO) but it has a Kart NM Barrel w/target crown by Rogers, all tool steel internals, Simonich Gunner Grips, Kings Match Bushing, XS Big Dot 24/7 sights, Rogers "Golf Ball" front strap treatment, all topped of with IonBond's Black DLC. It's taken quite a while and cost a shitload more than I thought I would spend on one of these, but it is everything I wanted, nothing I didn't.

You must have got in just in time with Chuck Rogers. I wanted the golf balling on a new Series 70 1911 that I have acquired and he's not taking anymore work due to backlog.

I think I'll just keep the H&K USPc .40 Smith on my side.

82nd: Yup, Hmm, I guess it was 6-8 months ago when I got it out there to Rogers. He was actually pretty quick getting it done and back to me, 2 weeks or so. He does that periodically, you just gotta keep an eye on his site, he'll say that he's fixing to do a run of Golfballing and to get your shit to him. I'll sing out if I catch him acceptign work again.

Jatx: I can neither confirm, nor deny the existence of any such lower ;-) Especially not Number 013

Good times,
Blake

I am thinking about putting a few of those back in "cold storage"...

Those grips and front strap are beautiful. Probably the best combination for positive texture I've seen in a long time. Great weapon you've built here. It may have cost more than you intended, but in my opinion, if you build something that works like you want it to, it's always worth the price.

Here's a pic for you .308 gas gun enthusiasts
It's a Magpul Massoud, the 308 version of the Masada (now the Bushmaster ACR). It's a gas piston driven gun that uses SR25/DPMS mags, the barrel there is 16". It is NOT in production, just a project in the works. I thought you guys would enjoy something new.

For some reason the pic doesn't just show up, you have to click on the link

That Massoud is awesome.

Here is my FN SPR that is finally complete.
