AK types

Polytech AKS762 underfolder, early Keng (1985) with Smith flash hider.

Valmet M-76 (5.56). The Valmet is my favorite of my AK's. Very accurate and reliable.

Retired, thank you. All the AKs that I have, i have built the receivers.
This is one of my last builds, a Polish Tantal AK 74. The receiver still had to be finished. My other AK 74 is a underfolder. I really like the "74's". They are very enjoyable to shoot.

Nice work, HOLLiS. Here are a pair of 700VS'. The one in the foreground is in 308, and the one in the rear is 22-250.

I just bought this used Safariland 6004 for my next project. I will do the MM mod to bring it higher, then hit it with the remaining Brownells Aluma-Hyde II (in earth brown) I have left.

FAL I received last month. Fired 200 rounds thru it at 100M. After the first 50 no problems. .223 seems kind of small after slinging lead from this. Makes you wonder what the Army is thinking sometimes. Anyone interested I know the Dealer to use for these.

Well, I don’t fool around with black guns and I wasn’t ever any good with a 1911 but here is one of my guns.

It is a 240 Wby built by Clay Spencer with a minimum SAAMI chamber with no freebore and throated for VLDs. It has a Spencer 1-8 twist 30 inch barrel with a Spencer brake and a Timmney trigger. The scope is a Leupold V3 6.5-20x 50mm and the stock is by Joel Russo with 2#s of lead in the butt. It weighs about 18#. I get a muzzle velocity of about 3275 fps with a 115 Berger. The bullets are loaded long so I have converted the rifle to a single shot by using a benchrest follower. Last year I killed antelope out to 860 yard and this year my goal was to break 1000 yards. The picture is an antelope I killed at 1140 yards. The second picture shows my gear and the red circle is where the antelope met up with the Berger.

The rifle is about to be retired being as 1140 yards is about its maximum effective range. I have another rifle that I will use next year and we shall see how far it will reach on out.

While my cyclic rate of fire might be low, I don’t need a dump truck to follow me around with ammo in it.

The old USP. I have had it for nine years and it shows the wear and tear. But it has zero failures that were not user / ammo related. I trust it to go bang every time.

BBob,

Spencer is first rate on rifles and a real professional. Much experience with his work personally and through friends. Glad to hear others know of his great work.

Look forward to seeing your new records.

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...b/IMG_3127.jpg I know some have seen this before, but I never get tired of looking at it... It's my 40/40. The upper is a 40cal Olympic Arms, the bottom is a 40mm Shivak M-203.

The new HK45 sure feels good in the hand, but the price is a little breathtaking. I decided to wait and see what will happen after HK ramps up US production. In the meantime, I found a great deal on a new-to-me pistol. Happily, I won't have to spam the Team Sergeant with pictures of my Glock anymore! I have to push out the stock sights and push in the night sights before I take it to the range.

Also, a picture of the kgoerz bag. It's awesome, built like a tank. I've always wanted a bag like this, and I'm glad I got this one with Keith's mods. Thanks, Keith! Oops, no guns, but there's a box of ammo and eye and ear pro in there.

I am not a fan of plastic Pistols but anyone who denies the reliability of a Glock is living in denial. Glade you like the Bag.

Now you tell me, I traded off my last Glock for a S&W Mod 53 two weeks ago.
