My Cache
The attached pics are of my "working collection". I participate in Cowboy Action Shooting once monthly for 7 months out of the year. I also shoot at the range weekly,
shooting no less than 500 rounds weekly, rotating through all of my weapons. So on average I shoot about 25,000 rounds per year. The attached target is a 5" Shoot 'n See target with 12 rounds from my HK USP Tactical at 50 feet. I maintain and tune all of my weapons. My daily carry CCW weapons are a rotation of the Kimber Pro CDP II, an HK P2000 in 357 Sig, an HK USP Compact in 40 SW, or the Walther PPK. Depends on my mood, where I am going, and the season.
The AR15 is a Wilson Combat UT-15, and below it is a Wilson Combat Shotgun.

I just recently puchased a standard M4 upper from DelTon and am very pleased with it. I was able to get exceptional quality at an affordable price with outstanding customer service. I will most definately be a repeat customer of theirs and will reccomend them to anyone in the market for an AR platform.
I have had it for two months now and put 1000rnds of 55gr Wolf ammo through it without a single malfunction due to the rifle (I did have one magazine crap out on me, a GI mag that was old and had a feed lip cracked).
On a side note, I understand that using wolf ammo is not looked upon highly on this site, but unfortunately its all that I can afford on my budget if I want to get the range time that I feel is necessary to maitain tactical and technical proficiency with my rifles. I am sorry and when I can afford better I will use better. I would rather use crappy ammo than not shoot at all.

An M4 shooting a 155 grain bullet, man, I have to see one of those. I thought that the 80 XLDs and 100 HPBTs were long!

55gr. You caught me before I could edit.
I'll be doing pushups momentarily for my lack of SA. If you can't be smart you can at least be strong.

One of the new repros. Handles well, and shoots well. The action was extremely gritty when I got it, but a good cleaning and a light coat of Eezox creared that right up.

Thank you Rogue, I have not heard anything on the new '87s, But have heard some good things on the new '97s. I have a original '87 in 12 g. I stick with a S/S, just not coordinated enough to use a pump in competition. The '87 is not as bad as a boat anchor, but does show it's age.

I have had the '97 pump for a couple of years, and acquired it new and tuned for cowboy action. Probably the fastest to use in SASS. The only problem I had with it was that the ejector is mounted from the outside with a single screw which worked it's way loose during one competition (causing failure to eject , ruined a "clean shoot day") Easy to fix, and then applied a good amount of locktite.

OK, everybody....
Way too many pictures of clean guns.
How about some more muzzle-flashin', brass-slingin', waterbottle splattin', paper punchin' pictures?
Range time....

KG, who gave you permission to put NDD in the dryer and shrink him so his rifle is too big for him?

It's just the Body Armor. Makes our heads look small.
