It's alright. I don't need their money, though I wouldn't mind it.

MSTN 6.8 SPC upper is here!
Well, here are the pics. I'm taking it out to shoot on Monday after work. I ordered a couple of small 1/2" rail risers from Yankee Hill Machine to raise the ACOG up (thanks for that thread TS), as I feel it is an awkward position for me. My Aimpoint has a 1/2" riser on it, and I like the heads-up position I can have with that on the other AR. This rifle is light. About 7 lbs.

LOL!
I sold my G21 and got this.
I also switched over to the Surefire M73 rail. I cobbled together the light by buying a Surefire tape switch tailcap and VLTOR mount for my E2e. Based on TR's comments in NDD's excellent review, I also tried the KL4 head from my L4.

I wasn't able to make it to the shop that day, besides they didn't have OD-107.

Ok, this I feel needs some explaining. I am a dedicated Law Enforcemet Officer for 20 years now! We all clear on this? I have paid my dues. I have been shoot at and shoot back, I have been pummelled into pemmican and done this to others in turn. Been on some nice high speed chases and some not-so-high-speed chases. Been to every kind of call imaginable and have come out just fine. So, if I elect to paint my toes it will be OD107.
Jeez, I just know figured out why I wasn't selected as a photographer for our Major Crime Scene Unit. My pictures SUCK! I believe we just might be witnessing the sunset years of my photographic abilites. This greives me terribley.
muwamp,
I would of never made fun of your nails! You know this will take me a few days to recover. Hopefully, I will be seen as a "Warrior" around here again.

The first step is to admit you're "photo challenged". Its OK, it happens to the best of them.

Thanks TS. I'll take the compliment before I tell you I'm right handed, and it's the LEM.

Why an LEM?
I shot one the other day, did not like it at all.
We purchase cars/SUV/sport cars that look like the inside of a Lear Jet yet when it comes to guns the local police chiefs opt for the simplest, no training involved point and pull models?
Now why is that?
Gun magazines tout them as the best LEM weapons on the market??? Are we de-evolving? Can we not handle both single and double action weapons, with safeties?

To paraprahse NDD: You couldn't, they're MY toenails. And they are exceptionally well-groomed.

I am wondering if FS is reading this? Also someone sooner or later is going to ask, where are the pictures. I prefer to maintain a Oregonian outlook, I don't wanna know, Unless it is John Deere Green.

TS,
I know this was not specifically directed at me, but my rationale for choosing it falls right in the heart of your criticism. As an inexperienced civilian who only shoots a couple hundred rounds a week, I believed it would be easier for me to learn with a constant trigger pull. I hope to attend a defensive shooting course, and thought I would have enough on my plate, without worrying about decockers, safeties, and DA/SA transitions. Maybe I should lay off on the industry Kool-Aid.
My favorite pistol to shoot, and the one that fits my hand best, is the 1911, but again, I don’t think I could train enough to carry it in condition one.
Having said that, I take your point loud and clear, lack of training is never a valid excuse.
