Personally I can't imagine firing any AR15 5.56 indoors without one if your not going to commit to throwing on Earpro's, that's just me. Can you imagine being a sheild man with someones 5.56 muzzle right next to your ear ? Surefire, SWR and AAC can cure that problem. Just a suggestion.
