Smile Exciting day

I know that it is Monday, but today is the first day that I will wear my tab to work! My wife said that I looked like a five year-old at Christmas as I walked out of the store with my freshly-sewn BDU top in my hands. It has been almost 30 months since I rode that first 30-pack out to the RTF for SFAS, and I feel as if I have a lifetime of friends, fond memories and accomplishments packed into the last two and a half years!
I am almost sad to depart the SFQC and leave these memories and this place. I only hope that the next few years will be as fulfilling and challenging as the last. I know that the end of the SFQC is only the beginning of my career in SF, and I pray that I can live up to and beyond the expectations of the senior NCO's and Officers with whom I will soon be working.
I hope that this serves as an inspiration to those who are currently in training and are having trouble focusing on the long road ahead of them. I wish you all good luck and a great week! I guess I had better go catch some rack and try to wipe the some of the SERE off of my face before tomorrow. Good night!
