Military Plane Crashes in California

SAN DIEGO — A military plane crashed Wednesday night into brush at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, authorities said.
The UC-35 aircraft burst into flames after it went down east of Interstate 15 and west of Miramar Road at about 8:45 p.m. Rescue teams were searching for survivors, the San Diego Fire Department said in a statement.
The UC-35 is a modified version of a Cessna Citation.
