Museum near the Vietnam Wall

I'm watching Larry King interviewing General Colin Powell.
It turns out, General Powell is a member of charity organization which is trying to raise funds to build a Vietnam War museum near the Memorial Wall.
He said something to the effect of "No politics. It's dedicated to the men who fought it; and teaching others about their bravery and sacrifices".

As a civilian, I think it's a great idea which is long overdue.

I was wondering, what is Quiet Professionals' take on this?

Thanks in advance.
