Interesting reading, MM. Thanks! Not sure if all of it makes a direct cross-over from sports to soldiering, but food for thought none the less.

hey razor, you're right - it's not a direct cross-over, but i thought that the info in 'the art of not suffering' might be applicable to cold-weather soldiering. it's timely, as much of the new clothing systems the military is looking at are from technology developed by civvie mountaineering/outdoor companies. i found the soft-shell vs hard-shell over base interesting food for thought. how ya doin, by the way?
