USMC Gets New Sniper Glass

Word is the USMC has choosen the Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 PMII LP, 34mm Tube, with a Double Turn CM Click Elevation Turret with Zero Stop, and an Illuminated Generation 2 Mil-Dot from Premier Reticles, Ltd. for the M40A3

Premier Reticle Gen 2 Review
Played with one last week.

Heavy, and expensive. Otherwise, very nice.

I am sure that LR1947 will be by with a professional opinion soon.

We're pretty excited about this scope here. It's way overdue. Of course it'll probably take us about 10 more years to fix our night vision systems, but hey, just getting rid of the Unertl is a quantum leap for the Corps.
