At least the Afghan defense minister didn't fancy the hideous blue camo adopted by the Navy.

The Navy insists it's not camo. Just a good pattern to conceal grease and oil. And they think it's good for morale. (everybody else has cool camo)

Unhappy USG procurement...

I've given up a loooooong time ago on the procurement mind-numbing process.

How much did the Army (and by extension, the USAF) spend on the highly effective Universal Camouflage Pattern? I'm betting far more than $28 million, and that pattern WAS tested (and generally failed).
