RA to Take Over NG Training?

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea?

I think this was tried once before and abandoned. In theory, it made some sense, but in practice, there was plenty of conflict as RA commanders had different career paths/incentives than NG commanders and it often became a turf war, benefitting neither.

Perhaps the intent is to get the NG troops mentally prepared to whatever domestic activities the gang in Washington have in mind to suppress the "deplorables"!
