All I can think about are the six families whom I don't know. Yet. But, we are a small community that sadly just grew. Six families are about to find out what Gold Star means. I hope and pray they get connected as soon as possible, that they are surrounded and supported by those who will soon become their new family, a truer family than most have ever known.
I'm sick. I don't admit to crying but I admit I can barely see the keyboard. I am so sick of holding back, being appropriate, not just saying what I feel. My heart literally hurts.
Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. I hate this fucking war that we're not fighting against people who are not our enemy in a place that has been pacified and is full of our allies. Fuck you war. Fuck you Taliban. Fuck you daesh. And fuck you to everyone who thinks we are not at war with a 7th century, pedophile prophets followers.
Most of all, the biggest fuck you to everyone who thinks we can 'win' by 'helping' them in any way save one...helping them to learn that we have the ability, and sooner or later will find the political will, to so destroy their world that it will be another thousand years before they will dare to threaten us or anyone but their own goats ever again.
Another fuck you...to anyone who gives a fuck for their poor women and children. It's sad that there are innocents on their side who will die at our hands. But is it less sad that they will live equally horrible lives before they die at the hands of their own? I. Don't. Care. How. Many. Of. Them. Die.
All I care about is ours who are dying pointlessly. We have no plan. We cannot win their hearts and minds. We can only win by killing so many of them that they and everyone like them who shoves their faces in the dirt to worship a pedophile is so terrified of us they crawl back into their 7th century world and stay there. Either let them win or bring them the fuck home before another family receives a folded flag.
Fuck them. Fuck a war we are not allowed to finish. Fuck the politicians and the limp wrist liberals and academics who think war is an interesting conversation to have with real world theoretical models of human behavior to dissect and discuss.
Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. Yeah, I admit it, I'm crying. Saying fuck a lot almost helps.
