Happy Halloween

I only say that before the "offended" take that American tradition away too.

This is how I'm celebrating mine:

Ok, back in my drinking days.

I don't know if it's just the area where I live but I don't seem to see many trick or treaters anymore, not like when I was a kid.

With pumpkin spices?

I've been sitting on my deck with my banjo and chainsaw and no kids have shown up yet.

Cheers, y'all

I set up a graveyard and built some coffins for the kids to play in. One of the coffins was set up with a fog machine and fog chiller. My daughter was dressed up as a ghost witch and crept around the graveyard a little too well - she scared the hell out of lots of adults. I don't know what it is about little girl ghosts, but whatever it is it worked! My son enjoyed jumping out of the coffins (and so did I).

We took the neighborhood kids around on a hayride. I was thankful the rain passed us without so much as a whisper. By the end of the night my little girl ghost witch was passed out by the campfire. That's her underneath a pile of blankets on the lawn chair next to the fire. I almost sat on her.

Hope y'all had fun and made some good memories.
