Awesome research practices at work there - I think anyone who entered an unmarked van should immediately have their IQ test results dropped by 50 points.

I too would strongly suspect an April Fool's Joke.

Goes to reinforce the adage "you can fool some of the people all of the time; you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can never fool all of the people all of the time".

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

The original article was posted in 2011.

At the bottom of the original is this note from the article's author:

Oh yeah, and everything in that bullshit you just read is completely and totally false. There has been no such conclusive study, and all of the “Finds” are based on public paranoia. Chances are good that if you are a conservative, you were empowered by this new find. If you, even for a second, thought this find might be true, you are probably an idiot.

I moved it to The Comedy Zone.

Every couple of months

Every couple of months Libs pass around a new "study" about how stupid conservatives are, how stupid Fox News watchers are, etc, etc, etc.

Lets face it - to Libs they're the smartest things around.

From the "study":

"Individuals with lower cognitive abilities may gravitate toward more socially conservative right-wing ideologies that maintain the status quo and provide psychological stability and a sense of order”. They say that this “is consistent with findings that less intelligent children come to endorse more socially conservative ideologies as adults”.
I thought the low-information voters were libs?

My take is that the guy who wrote the study that Doc references is confused as to just what cognitive means. He definitely has it all bassackwards.
