Deaf Seahawks player's inspiring commercial

Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman has been inspiring us here in the Northwest since he joined the team. Now the rest of America is beginning to learn his story.

Mr. Coleman truly is an inspiration.

My ASL professor has/had brought up Derrick several times as someone within the deaf community, who has not only over come adversity, but the prejudice still seen to this day, against not only deaf but the hearing impaired and how they strive to not just better themselves, but those around them.

I wish nothing but the best for him and hope that he continues to shine brightly for others to follow.

It's just too bad that he and his teammates will be losing to the BRONCOS come Super Bowl Sunday.
