Soldier Told Not to Read Levin, Limbaugh or Hannity in Uniform
Soldier Told Not to Read Levin, Limbaugh or Hannity in Uniform
A veteran member of the U.S. Army Band said he is facing retribution and punishment from the military for having anti-Obama bumper stickers on his car, reading books written by conservative authors like Mark Levin and David Limbaugh, and serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches at his promotion party.
“It seems like with the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell – that the Christians have been the ones who’ve had to go underground and in the closet – for fear of retaliation and reprisals,” Sommers told Fox News. “Christians feel like they can’t be forthright with their faith. They have to hide.

I'm sure there's more to the story. That said, surely he could find something less vitriolic to read. Can you imagine if TX implements this in their school system:

Let's hope they are successful. Just because 'someone' throws out happy, feel good platitudes - experience has shown that when it comes to so-called progressives, the platitudes do not mean what they imply. BTW, how's that 'Hope and Change' working out for everyone?

If you think I ever supported Obama in any way, ever, you're quite mistaken. I have a problem with Hannity, not with O'Reilly. I refuse to watch either Fox or Msnbc but if I were forced to watch any talking head I would watch Bill for sure. I don't know how people like Hannity or Olberman or whoever stay on the air.

Well, that's easy. Hannity's telling the truth-or trying to. Olbermann's a lyin'-ass lib snotrag.

Everyone on Msnbc is painful to watch. Personally it doesn't hurt me since I witness their lies daily. It hurts me to know other people believe the crap they spew. And Fox is just as guilty. Ann Coulter and whoever that guy is on the "Red Eye" program make me believe Rupert is trying to take down our country. There's no logic to either channel's programming.

OK. Well, your position is crystal clear to me now, because you dissed Coulter.

Ok, what does what you wrote have to do with what I wrote?
You seem to be taking things much too personal. My response was directly related to correcting the half-truth smear you implied of the Texas GOP.
I really don't care who you voted for or who you watch - otherwise I would have asked. I see Coventry in your future.

One needs the whole story....troops love to come up to you and give you a 'teaser' to see if they can get the CSM to be a FROG (free rocket over ground...old Soviet crap) and make you impact wherever...never go off half cocked.
Take your time, get the facts, then kill something.

I love it when she throwns gasoline on subjects that others avoid. I like Mark Lavin more than Hannity, but that is just me.

Hannity's hard to listen to through a whole monologue, because he'll say "in other words" and "in great specificity" at least one million times between breaths, but his heart's in the right place. He knows right from wrong.
Coulter cuts to the chase. I've never listened to Levin's show, but there's another talker I like called Phil Valentine. He's more entertaining than even Limbaugh.
