LUMBERTON - Robeson County investigators want to know who burned a Special Forces soldier's camper that was parked at his father's home in Parkton earlier this month.
Investigators believe the same people stole two customized Harley-Davidson motorcycles from the camper before setting it ablaze June 6, said sheriff's Lt. Brian Duckworth.
The camper and motorcycles belonged to Chris Corbin, whose recovery after losing both legs in an explosion while deployed was featured recently on "60 Minutes," Duckworth said. Corbin used the camper in training military dogs around the country, Duckworth said.
