Listen to the music, that's not an alert, it's the ice cream truck!
Seriously though, that young gentleman my respect. He seems like a level headed guy that just wants to do a good job.

He's the only Royal I respect. I remember at his mom's funeral, he, the youngest, seemed to be the most aware and in charge. I'd have a pint with him. I'd even buy!

While I have no qualms with him, he may need to learn when to keep his mouth closed. Recently he made a comment about relating his flying combat skills to the video games he played. While I have never been in combat, from what I have read video games are nothing like real combat and to compare a video game to war is an insult to those who have fought in one.

The real kicker about this story is that his comments offended the Taliban who made a statement about the prince being a coward. Given this was coming from guys who plant IEDs to kill Allied and innocent people, it is somewhat comical.

He's a pilot. Video games actually are relevant for them. And he has been in combat.
In site of centuries of inbreeding, every now and then, a Royal turns out okay.

I don't want to come across as being a dick or anything but are you a pilot or have you actually flown an aircraft?
I know MANY private pilot's with PPL's who use pc based "games" such as flight simulator to perfect their flying skills, navigation and so forth. Me included.
I don't really see why you should be offended that he has made a comment like that. Bearing in mind, commercial and military pilots also sit in simulators for training and so forth on a consistent basis year in year out.

Well done CPT Wales.
Knows his responsibility, had no qualms about getting up and going without all the "Hey look how cool it is that they are calling me - would you mind if we did this later?" BS.
Big thumbs up Wales. Your mom would be proud.

I salute both Harry and his brother William they each serve with distinction.
http://www.royal.gov.uk/ThecurrentRo...arycareer.aspx
"In January 2010, Prince William successfully completed advanced helicopter flying training at the Defence Helicopter Flying School based at RAF Shawbury. The completion of the 12 month course is a significant step in his training to become a fully operational pilot with the Royal Air Force’s Search and Rescue Force (SARF). "
"Owing to Prince William’s unique role in the Armed Forces, given that one day he will become its Head, he retains his commissions as officers in the Royal Navy and the Army, within the Household Cavalry. "
