Angry The Daily Beast.........SF Soldiers Profile.......

Just read this comment on The Daily Beast:

“Fact is, that Special Forces operatives in the Army are chosen on the basis of their emotional deficiency.
I know someone who told me, that these people are brainwashed to the point, where they can kill a dog they have befriended, on command, without feeling anything.
Basically, they have to pass the test of being psychopathic automatems, so they can kill and torture without a thought.
More attention needs to be focused on the torturers and what kind of people they are, because in civilian life they would be an anti-social threat to others.”

Probally should have put this in Mindset.........

Psychopathic snake eaters...right? I wonder how many of you the person who made this comment actually knows? The individual using the term "emotional deficiency" is clearly illustrating an intellectual deficiency. The examples of anti social behavior cited are that of sociopathy, not psychopathy, so the person speaking doesn't even have their psychology straight. Though one is often required to do things that most are not required to do, being a member of Special Forces does not mean you check your humanity at the door.
I am proud to call several of you "psychopathic robots" my friend. Psycho no, though the term "loco" may very well apply to some... More than one outing with you green beanie types has walked a fine line between insanity and illegality. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Also sounds like he's confusing the old Nazi SS "Kill your own Dog" training story with SF.

What a maroon.

I remember when I first applied for SF training and they brainwashed me into ripping my mother's head off, skinning her face, and wearing her face over my own while I danced, butt naked, under the full moon in a cemetary-singing GWAR songs and playing a bagpipe.

Right then, I thought, "Damn! Is SF hardcore, or what?"

If you would've had a peeled banana sticking out of both ears .... you could have become a Freemason.
