When I went through in processing way back when at Ft. Leonard Wood I was single and I was asked who I wanted my life insurance to go to in case of my untimely demise. I was told that the bulk of the soldiers left their insurance to their Mothers, no mention of Dad. Some things probably never change. My own mother is starting to show her own age, I took her to her Dr's appointment for the first time the other day. She is starting to remind me of her mother, I will keep that info to myself. glebo, sorry for your recent loss, Mom's are special.
