Operation Jungle Jewel

Haven't been here for a while, thought I bring the communtity up to date with a long drawn out investigation I was part of. It got the attention of another group of old timers. Link to the story below. Just goes to show that some never forget. Regards

God Bless you for your efforts to recover this MIA from WWII. My Dad was a WWII aviator.

I was on that Patrol that found the plane

PM out to you. You've got me very curious now.

I heard that they actually were able to clear up an old MIA Case from that mission.

Pls drop me a line. Have lost touch with all but a couple guys from that era.

I did somwe work at Soesterberg when I was in The Netherlands. Although I wasn't there until 2002 I can tell you that the Dutch loved those guys.

Pictures of that patrol

I just got some last night from that patrol and am in touch with 3 members aside from the original poster.

Anybody else around?
