Who Says Cajuns Aren't Smart?

"Even after the Super Bowl victory of the New Orleans Saints, I have noticed a large number of people, implying with bad jokes, that Cajuns aren't smart. I would like to state for the record that I disagree with that assessment. Anybody who would build a city 5 feet below sea level in a hurricane zone and fill it with Democrats who can't swim is a damn genius." - Larry, the Cable Guy.

IMO, comedy that exploits tragedy of that scope isn't funny.

Nagin and the inhabitants who stayed were ignorant and stupid, but too many people died hard for me to laugh at that joke.

I'm sorry. It wasn't my intent to make light of the tragedy in those terms. I apologize if it offends any of you.

It didn't offend me- I just don't think it's funny- and I'm speaking only for myself. Somebody else may find it funny, so don't get your feelings hurt.
