McMillan stock--McSwirrelly

For any guys thinking about building a gun with a McMillan stock, I thought you might want to check out McMillan's coloring ability. I just got this gun and stock back from the gunsmith.

When ordering a stock, McMillan will ask what color you want. The "McSwirrellys" are made from taking any colors you like, then they mix the color when making the stock. The stock I ordered was 1/3 black, 1/3 gray, and 1/3 tan/khaki.

Given the normal stock is 14 inch LoP,,

Is that barrel 40 inches long??

Like the camo..

Barrell has a recoil suppressor on it, which greatly reduces recoil, and adds about one million decibels to the sound.

muzzle brakes

Most people develop a flich faster and bigger from loud noise than the shove of the gun. I pulled the brake off my first 338L as soon as I discovered I could not shoot it in a hunting environment if I was not wearing really good hearing protection...

My current 338L with brake (Remington SR8 prototype) has not been shot since I received it in 1998
