Quest for the cup

I know there are a few fans of hockey on this board, so I thought I would see what everyones thoughts are on the coming "Second Season".

I have my favorites, as I'm sure most others do too.

Lets hear em; can the Canucks bring home the cup to go with their Presidents Trophy? Can the Habs hoist it at home where those die hard fans think it belongs?

The Caps spent the first part of the season drunk and lying in the gutter, but managed to recover and win their division. They are up two games on the Rangers.

Vancouver gives Canada it's best chance to get the Cup back in years. I think this year it's theirs to lose.

Go Minneso... Oh well, here is to some good summer hockey. If the Twins continue their early season skid, MN will truly be the sports abyss. I guess I can go outside and enjoy the four inches of fresh snow that just fell.

Bruins

More than half of my team was admitted to Massachusetts General last evening...for heart transplants. Stay tuned or not - after last year's collapse - this Montreal series could leave a mark.

I grew up on Long Island. Went to many Islander games in the 70's. I remember seeing blood splash into the Plexi Glass. What a game it was. They don't make enforcers like they use to.

No, they don't. You have to go to Mickey D's to see that kind of action anymore.
