Epic weapon handling fails
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et33bbA0GeM
I thought about putting this in the Weapons area but some of the clips are good enough for here. Bottom line, Treat every weapon as if it were loaded; Always point your weapon downrange; Never point your weapon at anything you are not willing to destroy and last but not least; Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire!

Anyone know the story behind the first AD. Looked like it was a cop who he shot. Looked like he had a shoulder holster on. Or it could of been suspenders.

Here's a little longer clip.
Guess next time he'll let him play on the slide a little longer

Surely agreed.
If you watch the beginning of the video closely, it would seem that Habib fires off a round into the air, sits down and pulls the slide back to "clear" the weapon. His ultimate and possibly fatal mistake if the aforementioned is correct, is that he didn't eject the magazine and loaded a hot one in the tube as he thought he cleared it.

A buddy of mine back in ROTC, about a week or so before we were about to commission, decided to buy a Mossburg 500 with a pistol grip for "entries". He also had limited experience with firearms in general, most of it limited to PS2 and a yearly outing to the M16 Alt-C range. The same day, he took it out to the range, proceeded to bring the weapon up to his cheek to sight down the barrel on his first shot and smacked himself right under his right eyesocket.
He'll never live it down. I won't let him
