26NOV10 Rifle....Something to be Thankful for!

Instead of fighting off the crowds in the stores, I took my older Brother out hunting this morning, and after getting to spend some time together in the woods, and some horn rattling, we were rewarded when this guy decided to show up.

Enjoy.

Very nice.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Very nice indeed!

Shot today as well. After replacing a stater on an old truck - had the dog, the boys, several .22LR(s), and a few hours later, fresh cotton tails in the freezer.

Is this not a great country?!!!

Thanks for the comments. Because I hunt in the great state of Texas, I can still kill a few more deer! Best part about that, I have meat for the entire family for the year, now thats what I call fast food!

That is very nice.

I went on opening day in Maryland and had a two point (four point ) at 270 yards but by the time I got the video camera on him and running; he was off chasing a doe and gone for the day, Tomorrow I'll try again.
