Truck is Repacked

Well, Utah archery elk and deer season ended swiftly for me and so I came on home and got the meat in the freezer. I have the story written up and will post it when I get back in late October. Short story is that I didn't break 100 yards.

So early tomorrow morning I head for Wyoming to hunt antelope and have tags for a buck and two does. From there I will head over to Utah for an antlerless elk rifle hunt. It was nice to be home for two weeks.

Good Luck! Be safe and watch out for the knuckleheads... My next hunt is for birds, Chukars, in Nevada. Opening day is October 9...

Had hoped to get up in the stand this past Friday being as it was a random day off. However, 90 degree temps here in NC changed my mind quite quickly, hope this summer ends so I can try out my new Mathews Z7 on some of these NC deer/dogs.
