SP5 Alan Burtness, 5th SFG (Nha Trang) KIA 1968-69?

I am seeking information from anyone who knew Alan in the summer of 1968 with the 5th Group out of Nha Trang. He was a friend while we were together in the 10th. I went to the 173d and around late 68 or early 69, a mutual friend told me Alan was with a Mike Force when he hit an explosive booby trap.

The search button was negative.
