The good Admiral is correct but the those "things" are generally handled by people other than SEALs...

Personally I don't see why there is a need to change the policy. Allowing women on a SEALs team might actually distract from the teams mission, as a mans natural instinct would be to "Help out" or try and keep his female team mate safe.
Women have an equally strong role as their male counterparts in other areas and are already being utilized.
"But given the unique access females can secure with local women in conservative societies where the U.S. military is operating, said Admiral Olson, "Cultural Support Teams" made up of two to four women were created last year to be attached to SEAL teams and Green Beret units and are already at work. Olson said that 56 more women graduated last week, "all of whom will be in Afghanistan by the end of August."
