Terrorist Attack at the US Embassy in Bosnia

Don't mind me, just standing here peacefully with an AK.

IIRC the USMC had an SOP for this kind of incident in Beruit "a few" years ago. I don't recall any of their annoyances needing to be arrested after the fact.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Let me get this straight, a "target challenged" individual shoots a gun outside, or somewhere near the US Embassy and this is labeled as a "terrorist attack" on the US Embassy?

Was the Embassy hit? No. Was anyone inside the Embassy hurt? No. (peeing in your pant's does not count)

Terrorist attack, No.

Active shooter, yeah.

Who was reporting for the Associated Press, dianne feinstein?

His target was indeed the Embassy and an FSN guard was struck.

Butmir was probably on lock down, fit to be tied.

Agree with TS' statement that it's not a terrorist attack however, according to press Jasarevic is a well-known shithead among Serbian law enforcement. There is quite a bit of background info available via Serb and Bosnia news agencies on the web.

Press: Arrested in Nov 2010 armed with a "rambo" knife while the previous AMBO was there in Novi Pazar. Spent 3 years in a Viennese jail for stealing 100,000 Euro in 2005 and was deported. Known member of Wahabbi group in Novi Pazar.

This report says Jasarevic had two hand grenades under his jacket.

Here is the video (choppy at first but clears up).

Blue, the FSNs were offended by that term so we now call them Locally Employed Staff (LES). A kinder, gentler Dept of State!

Looks like he expected the 72 virgins to surround him after he was hit.

I used drive by the US Embassy as part of our Patrol... That place had more armed security outside than Butmir !

Glad it was resolved and no good guys were injured..
