Wonder if he's alergic to electricity, bullets and a hangman's noose too.

Does anyone remember the case a few years ago in Washington State where the lawyer of an obese convict who was to be executed by hanging didn't want his client to be hung because they thought his head might be ripped off?

They hung his fat a$$ anyway.

These types of criminals aren't deserving of any mercy.

For you voicing concerns over what types of reaction this P.O.S. may have had, AP writes:

Quote:
allergic to the state's execution drug was put to death Tuesday with no apparent complications
To bad isnt it?

I know there are some Anethesiology-types around here that could comment. I think most people react to the gases used to induce for surgery, not the sodium thiopental used in Ohio as a single drug for execution since late 2009.

Before the change last year, scumbags were also given pancuronium, a paralytic agent, as well as large doses of potassium chloride to induce an arrhythmia in the heart from electrolyte imbalance.

If pruning down to 1 drug - the inmates could have been given just pancuronium - so they would be "locked in" - fully aware and feeling without the ability to move/breathe...but I guess that would be considered inhumane...

I like this bit:

Quote:
The state countered ... that the worst reaction would be death from low blood pressure and impaired breathing, effects that would be irrelevant in the context of an execution.
Translation: "Worse case we kill him, which we're already hoping for, dumbass."
