AZ Deputy shot confronting smugglers

http://www.azcentral.com/community/p...rant30-ON.html

Glad it sounds like he"ll be ok.

I wonder if this will get as much national attention as the immigration bill 1070 is.....

I had a friend on this scene...

Thankfully the Deputy should make a full recovery.

Derek, call if you want to know more...

Glad to hear the Deputy will make a full recovery.

Where's the outrage? Oh, right...they're too busy bitching about the AZ immigration bill. Got it.

He returned fire with his AR and pistol during the firefight which lasted 10 minutes according to the Sheriff. That's a long time to be alone, outnumbered, and out gunned out in the desert.
Good job!

Thanks Joe, I got the info. I'm just glad to see our borders are secure as ever and that we don't have a problem here in AZ.

Hopefully between Shakira, Sharpton, and Danny Glover visiting the state the problems will get worked out.....

What doesn't make the media is the fad during the "peaceful marches" of the t-shirts, spraypainting, and chanting in spanish of "1070 = dead cops"
