Deer gets second chance at life..twice

It is a method, but not the preferred one

A guy in Delaware picks the wrong time to walk down the "po-chi-man" trail. As you all say, You can't fix stupid :

They should give the guy an IQ test. He might make the Guinness book as the stupidest guy in the world.

PS

Just in case you didn't know, a black bear moved into the Paw Paw bends last year and is still there. There was some indication it had a cub with it this year. Something to think about when traveling in the dark to a place to hunt deer.

Thank you for the heads up . I was going there opening day of firearms season this year. I typically get there at least an hour and a half before light to set up to beat the crowd, so this news is just in time. Guess I'll have the camera handy too . Also, good luck wherever you go for the opener!

Was out to the Paw Paw bends yesterday to shoot some geese. Driving back out saw this small buck next to the road. Totally unafraid of the truck. He probably won't make it through next Saturday.

Just finished converting his twin into food. That one was terrified of the truck - so much so that he leapt in front of it to sacrifice himself to Darwin. B*****d! Figured if he was going to cost me an insurance claim, the least I could do was eat him. (Fava beans and a Chianti Riserva! ) Oh well; since I wasn't planning on hunting this year, I needed the practice dressing one out just to stay in tune.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
