Pittsburgh G20 Summit protesters – Radio Scanner

If anyone is interested, the following is the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (PA) Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com. It apparently doesn’t cover all the “action” of these anarchists, but there is a lot of traffic.

That's pretty cool.
I was thinking about heading down town tonight just to see whats up.
I get the idea that most of these protesters have no idea what they're actually protesting for or against. There was greenpeace... and some anti-capitalist groups. So what are you protesting when Obama is already on their side?

I just got back from there. It wasn't even big enough to call it a protest in my book. Of course the News Media made it sound like Armageddon. I am very disappointed in our protesters these days
Total let down for my last week working in an LEO Capacity.

LRAD was used in some cases. Also used early and often was CS, Pepper spray and rubber bullets. It kinda served notice to the protesters. This and the outstanding civilian support that law enforcement recieved. It really seemed to confuse a lot of the protesters.

Saw some of the locals mixed in with the protesters. They were holding up Pittsburgh Steelers signs and fake Stanley Cups. It was to funny.

The local Pittsburgh residents were not happy with these kids coming to their city in order to break things. I believe if things got really bad. You would of seen groups of Pittsburgh residents walking around with Axe Handles.
When Green Peace repelled off the Bridge in order to hang their Banner. People were chanting to the Police "Cut the Ropes" "Make them Splash"

G20/LRAD AAR

A.C.L.U. isnt happy about the use of LRAD during the protests at the recent G 20 and have vowed to file Ecxessive Force charges against the Pittsburgh Police.

They say it hurt the protestors ears. Poor babies.
