What the hell? We either: 1) Doubled the personnel needed, or 2) halved the productivity of deployed soldiers. This is ludicrous and inane. Why we are still over there and relying on the Afghans for security of ANY kind is beyond me.
Using locals as security works with small units whom are capable of getting/doing vetting for their security. The big army wants to do what we do and they are now paying the price. I hope someone comes to their senses and realizes how assinine this is....
