Im inspired, and I cant believe it

I seriously cannot believe it.

I was almost certain as soon as Fred Thompson dropped out of the race, that I would simply float along until election day where I would cast my vote for a guy I didn't really respect as a Conservative, because the guy he was running against was the very personification of collectivism.

But I have to admit, that after the speeches of Palin and McCain, I am inspired.

I actually believe that we have a chance not only to win this election but perhaps bring about some of the reforms needed. Like school choice, reduced pork barrel spending, an overall return to economic conservatism, while not surrendering our ground on issues like abortion and traditional marriage.

I had thought that we would just be biding our time with McCain, hoping that a strong conservative would appear over the next 4 years.

For the first time since John McCain became the presumptive nominee I have become excited about this election and the next 4-8 years.

Got the McCain sign up in the front yard now. Plan to get a McCain/Palin sign as soon as they come out.

Hanna appears to be a nice girl so far. Not too bad in Fayetteville.

Agree!

After Fred Thompson's speach @ RNC, I have to wonder why he did not do as well for himself during the primaries?

This is the first election since I began voting that I am actually voting FOR somone and not AGAINST someone else. I think a lot of people feel the same, regardless what side of the aisle they sit on.

I am truly excited!!!!!

for a few minutes after Palin's speech i was scared i was turning into an Obamaniac on the different side of the aisle. However, i then realized that i knew the issues that we are confronting and not just falling for charisma and rhetoric. to say the least, i too and excited about voting in november.
