This new book on SOG focuses on the operations of CCS as experianced by CSM Jackson. He served on RT Nail. Ive only just started the book so a review will have to wait till I can do it justice.

I just finished this one last night. It's a great read. CSM Jackson, a CCS veteran, starts off with several chapters describing MACV-SOG and what life was like on a day-to-day basis, then he tells a bunch of good stories like we like to read in the briefback forum here. It's relatively short and a good, quick read. I finished it in less than a day. Two thumbs up!
