Hitchens gives an interesting Q & A with himself is this brief article. Hitchens is a self proclaimed left leaning guy to be sure but honest with history and the threat militant islam poses to the West. I think it takes the wind out of many of the 20/20 hindsighted Libs arguments and their ongoing efforts to discredit POTUS.

Wow! A real liberal who is not blinded by irrational hatred for the Bush administration, or blind to the threat of militant Islam? I didn't think there was such a thing anymore. Very beneficial reading for both liberals and conservatives who are suffering buyer's remorse about the war. Thank you for posting this! Clearly the invasion was the only correct course of action given the circumstances of the time. This article does a perfect and logical presentation of that fact. Much obliged!

I adore Hitchens, even if he probably would think I'm a fruit loop for believing in God. The following blog post is by someone who attended a recent debate between Hitchens and Chris Hedges. The first video in the list is a only five minutes, but it's cheering to watch..... rather like it's cheering to watch a gunship fire on target....

The letters to the editor will be interesting next month on this, if they bother to print them. The chattering class love that he is so adamantly secular (see the Sept Vanity Fair), but then he goes and loves patriots who serve in the military.
