The Military Channel has an episode on this battle that just aired and will be shown again on 10/14/09. Only caught that last parts.. The show seems oriented towards the overall battle and an armor emphasis. SF is represented by one of the commentators.

Tank Battle Vietnam
TV-14 (V), CC
It is the first and only tank battle of the Vietnam War. On March 3, 1969, North Vietnamese armor and infantry unleash a surprise attack on a remote US Special Forces Camp near the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Contacted the Military Channel, but was unable to track down Brian Leonard's information. The show origianlly aired 2006ish, so not much hope of anything happening. At least the Col.'s story was spread in one more channel.
