Before the last election, the speaker of the house was in our city for a rally Luncheon with Sam Johnson. Me and several others of our SWAT team were tasked with supporting the Capitol Police protective service agents on the speakers detail. Before any public came to the location, Sam Johnson and his wife arrived, he came walking in with a cane and slowly made his way to each of us that were standing a post. He would shake our hand and speak with each of us for a minute or two. As I shook his crippled hand, I just thought, what a wonderful man.

Great speech....of course the Dems will ignore it.
