I've been waiting over a year for this book to be published, having read several of the blogs "real time". Based on that alone I know it won't disappoint. I cannot wait to get my copy...

If you have a Borders around you, you'll probably have more luck. B&N here sounded clueless when I called. Borders OTOH has sold out and has more on order to arrive Friday. I already put a hold on one.

Amazon.com has it for $10.00 and change.

I just bought it from Fictionwise (www.fictionwise.com), for under $10. Didn't get past the first page of the intro before there were tears in my eyes. [I can't admit that kind of stuff to anyone else, but I think you lot would understand, if anyone could.] There's just something about the kind of character someone must have and that, as far as I can tell, most of our men & women in the armed forces have (and had it in spades in past wars, too)-- that singular quality where they're willing to put their lives on the line for what they believe in; willing to sacrifice all they have to ensure not just their own, but other people's freedoms and rights; and that undying, generous and selfless love of country-- that gets me right "here", yeah?

It’s also pretty cool seeing entries from blogs you read on a regular basis in print, between covers, so to speak. Are any of you bloggers in it? If so and if you wouldn't be too shy to admit it, pm me and tell me which page yours is on. It would be so fun to know some of the bloggers in the book, yeah? <BG>

If you go to blackfive's site, then you'll see ALL the bloggers involved, along with the links to their sites. It's staggering that he was able to fit so many of them into the book. <g>

So far, it’s a great read, but I’m only on the first chapter and I know it’ll get even better. <g>
