The POTUS called personally and asked for his release and Egypt says "NO!"

Can't be. Obama himself helped put these people in power; they wouldn't do anything like this. Blame it on Bush and move on.

Hmmm
Hmmm, maybe the administration is not pushing the aid package fast enough.
Maybe the peace and love crowd in Egypt just wants to make sure the MB aid comes through.

I believe that SF is a 'calling' - not too different from the calling missionaries I know received. I knew instantly that it was for me, and that I would do all I could to achieve it. Easy fix. Start pulling support and shutting the money faucet and you'll have your folks back in no time.
No big speeches, no diplomatic bovine fecal matter, no ST6 raids.
Effective immediately, all logistic and financial support will be revoked until safe passage out of Egypt is granted to Mr. and Mrs so and so. As someone pointed out, money cannot buy you love but can rent it for a while.
And on the aftermath, take your sweet ass time before you reinstate the aforementioned support. I mean, we all know red tape's a bitch, don't we...
