I'm glad to see that the MN and VT legislators have taken up the torch. My concern deals with wondering if the rest of the nation knows about this situation as the majority have settled in MN and WI.
With that, in the article there was no mention of a WI legislator backing the amendment. That's a bit scary as there is a substantial Hmong population in the state. But what's more, I hope that lack of backing isn't a result of the shooting a few years back. That incident really set back relations in the NW parts of WI. Of course, it got national headlines, so that may be all that the national public "knows" about Hmong.
Off to write my legislators. Thanks for bringing this up.
