What a lot of people don't know is Greenwald/Snowden never released any info about spying on other countries. Only the domestic stuff.
That was the NY Times that released a series of 12 stories exposing all the spying on forign countries. Which is strange since they don't have the documents. It was like the times was trying to paint them as traitors knowing they would get blamed for it.
The only forign stuff Greenwald/Snowden released was the Merkel spying. Because they told the NSA to stop harrasing Snowdens family, pertically his dad. When they didn't stop they dropped the Merkel bombshell.
Thats pretty important information for the people who are calling him a traitor.
